I need some help from all you guys out there. I have a 1962 Impala. My questions is about the x frame. I have removed the top from the Impala to make it into a roadster. Along with many other modifications. I removed the frame and added 4 more body mount locations to the frame like a convertible uses. I bought the mounts and rubber bushings from art morrison. body is back on and all seems fine,But I just not sure the x frame is going to be stiff enough for this application. has anyone ever tryed to make a new x frame from modern materials, mandrel bent rails, heavier steel? the old frame is pretty thin stuff from the factory.Thanks for any help.Tim
