What are the options on this? I have heard of people using some sort of Silverado headlights I think, but what happens with all the wiring when you do this? Is it a fairly simple splice into the factory harness or is it totally different for LEDs? I thought they required different wiring of some sort. Has anyone ever tried these? They appear to be direct fits.

Thought year one had a kit... check them out maybe. And yes Silverado headlights look cool ,not a direct fit as in going to a scrap yard and bolting them in ,also yes you need to be handy with your wiring skills

What year of silverado works? I've never seen it said which years they're putting in. What has to change in the wiring when you go to LEDs?

It looks like year one sells the bulbs. They're called a conversion kit, but again, it's just the lamp. So do these plug right into the factory harness? I'll have to get in touch with year one. Has anyone done this?

Those are 9006/9007 series bulbs so the headlight harness needs to be built correctly for them. I can put together a plug n play kit if you want a really nice harness adapter kit assuming your existing wiring is in good shape. I'd suggest using your existing headlight connectors as triggers for those 9006/9007 bulbs via relays.
