Thinking about looking into getting my car mini-tubbed but what's all needed??can I keep my leafs? Do they get relocated? I already have lowering rear leafs and have moved my shocks inboard..

Yes you can keep the leafs. DSE makes a mini tub kit with offset shackles for leaf springs.

You can keep the leafs, but they will always hinder you from going with a really wide Tire/Wheel combo

You may need to have your rear seat frame narrowed as well.

Most aftermarket "pro-touring" link suspension kits use the GM leaf spring mounting cup as a pivot point. This does allow for a narrower or offset link to be installed but you're really not making major change like something you'd see on a full drag race rear end with big slicks. Also, there's a lot of very fast leaf spring cars out there so don't be tricked into thinking you absolutely need a link suspension. Do what you want and be happy but I'm just saying that you can have a very nice leaf spring setup.

I don't see why not. 335 is the typical size that DSE suspension owners run with their cars. There have been people have up to 315 wide on 2nd gen F-Body with stock subframes, leaf springs and no minitubs. I'm sure a very nice quality tire and lightweight wheel can be installed on a 1st gen for very good performance without chopping up the car.
These minitub kits have to run tight exhaust clearance, narrowed gas tanks and many other small modifications to fit a 335. This is not a bad thing but realize what you're getting into.

Yes, but you have to use off-set Shackles and DSE Springs, and get the absolute best Wheel Offset

Yes, but what are you trying to reference? I mentioned in the beginning of this thread that DSE offers a whole kit with offset shackles.

DSE told me 67-68 the widest u can fit on them is a 315. They said even with here 4 link they can only get a 315 on it.. But I've seen people with 335-345 on there 68s but I'm not sure what suspension or what else they had to modify to get this to fit.. They told me 335 will for on 69 because 69 is 1" wider on each side..

Depends how low it is. I have seen some 68s with really wide tire but they stick out past the sides of the fenders like a monster truck. The real way people are getting away with it is by pulling/streatching the fenders out another inch. Chris Gonzales mentions it in Big muscle Blu Ballz episode and Tim Allen mentions it on Jay Lenos garage. Both 68s
What kind of tires are you planning for the front? It would be silly to go thru all this trouble to mount 12 or 13 inch wide rims in the rear and have skinny tires in the front, unless you primary focus is drag racing.
I personally went the other directin and spent all my money on the front so I could run 275s all the way around on my 69

275's all around is a great choice because that has so many tire options to choose from. The 315-335 tire selections start narrowing down and become really expensive.
