They should fit without a problem. I am running 17 x 9 4th gen wheels with only minor rubbing at full lock turns on the front.

A 7.5 inch wide rim will fit with no problem. Heck the factory ws6 rim for 78-81 was an 8 inch rim.

I use Vette Brakes adaptors.

For my combo, I run 1 1/4 on front and 1 3/4 on rear.

For you combo, based on the specs posted, I would run a 1 1/4 spacer. If that ends up being a custom size, a 1 1/2 should work fine.

I based my recommendations on the factory 8 inch rim which was 8 inches wide with 0 offset. The 1 1/4 will put you at the same BS as the factory.

If you're interested, I have 2 Vette Brakes adapters, zero run time, just used for fitment, 1.25" thick. I mounted 17x9.5 Vette wheels on my 71 Camaro, but changed to 19's to clear the front suspension pieces, therefore no need for adapters anymore. Anyway, let me know if you are interested, I'll let them go for $75 (half price) plus shipping. I'm in Benicia, CA 94510.
