I want 10" in the front of my Nova but this is not going to fit without buying Ridetech Tru-turn.

So I measured everything 4 times and a 18x9 is going to fit.
But I still want the wide front tire.
I am going to buy Nitto Invo tires because they are a good set (325/30/19 in the rear)

So a 9" wheel is actually 10" wide which is 254mm
A 275 tire is according to Nitto website 272mm wide.
So the tire is 22mm wider than the wheel, 11mm each side....

What do you guys think?

I don't think you will have a problem.

It'll be bulged a little bit. We've done it, and it looks fine in my opinion.
We usually do a 255 or 265 on 9's though.
Usually the tire manufacturers sites or dealer sites will show recommended wheel width for a given tire.

I agree that each tire is different. I run a 275/35/18 BFG rival on a 9" wheel and it fits well. My buddy runs the invo's, (his are 265's) and I feel like based on that tire's style, a 275 would be fine on a 9" wheel.

I have 275/35 s04 pole positions on an 18x9 with no bulge. As others have said, every tire will be different.

A 9" wide wheel is 9" wide cuz its measured from the inside. It's the same reason that if you measure the diameter across your 18" wheel lip it will be more 19.5
That being said I have 275/40 18s front and rear on 9"fr and 9.5rr. The front bulges a little and is less than ideal from a performance stand point. The rear sidewall is pretty squared up and decent.
That 272mm you mention is section width, what you really need is tread width and one of the only places I know to find that info is tire rack cuz they actually measure it themselves.

Looks good Pete.
Do you have 9" in the front?
if yes, what is your back spacing?
