The Wilwood instructions only say to pack the bearings with grease. Do I need to add any additional grease inside the hub area?

I would coat the spindle shaft and toss a few gobs into the hub too. You don't want to have much free space for the grease to sling out.

Ok thanks. That's what I thought I should do. It just threw me off since Wilwood doesn't mention that in their instructions.

Sadly their instructions are a tad weak. I wish they would also stamp left or right on brackets too. I accidentally switched them when I put mine on and was having a hell of a time. Only figured it out after two hours of swearing.

I had an issue with their leather seals seeping grease out. Luckily I had an ancient Wilwood hub that had a similar sized rubber seal to get teh number off of that resolved it.

Any chance you still have that part number? Just in case. :D

Somewhere on the shelf,I bought several extra!
I used Mobil One grease and it does have a little liquid separate out but teh car just sitting in the garage for 6 months no driving started to leak it past the leather seals. Wilwood said they work the best??
Actually if they had machined the seal area in the hub OD just 0.060 more the double lipped factory seal would have fit-my plan on the next Wilwood kit I get for a second gen.
