16" steel wheels for C1 corvette?

Hi guys!

I am looking 16" steel wheels for my 59 vette. I want to retain the dog dish hub caps and gain little bit better "handling" due lower profile tire. This is far away from protouring car but still decent driver with lowered suspension , zz4 and rs600 5 speed.

Wheel Vintiques make a nice repro, they have steel in 14-17, and billet in 17-20.
The selection of 16" performance tire options is almost non-existant now, 17" still has many options, 18,19 offers much more options.

This is what I was going to post. I would skip 16" completely, it's an obsolete size. I would go 17".
