I know some of the truck people and others have used a Volare/Aspen K member under trucks to provide a basis for a better driving front-end as an alternative to a Mustang 2 frame section.
ANYONE have ANY experience with suspension and brakes upgrades or parts to make a Plymouth Volare or Aspen or Dodge stop and handle worth a damn?
I'll worry about the "Slant 6" later!!!!

This is the Mopar "F Body" platform.
Suspension upgrades for the stock suspension. Reinforce / weld the K-frame. I do not know the details on how they do the F Body K reinforcement, you can send it to Firm Feel to do if you want. Use the solid mount spacers. Go to the 1.25" torsion bars, matching springs for the rear, big sway bars front and rear. All these parts can be had from Firm Feel for your car: http://www.firmfeel.com/fmj_body_mopar_parts.html
Borgeson offers a 14:1 modern power steering box for the car.
Your spindle is essentially the same as mine. This is the kit I used for the front with the exception that I had him upgrade me to the Baer rotors: http://www.doctordiff.com/brembo-style-13-front-disc-brake-kit.html
Rear is equally easy. I would call Cass Eslick (Dr Diff) and have him make you an entire rear axle to order and include the brake kit. He built me an axle with a locker and the ratio I wanted.
I used this kit for the rear brakes, also upgraded to the Baer rotors: http://www.doctordiff.com/rear-disc-brake-kit-11.7-rotor.html
I had Cass throw in the matching master cylinder and a few other needed parts while doing the deal.
