I discovered this forum while looking for billet steering arms for my 1973 Chevy Nova
I replaced the stock subframe with a Speed Tech Performance subframe including tall tubular upper and lower control arms and tall ATX spindles
In addition I replaced the conventional steering with a rear mounted manual rack & pinion steering gear
Cast steering arms are readily available, but I have been unsuccessful locating billet steering arms to fit this 'set-up'
Additionally I am converting the four wheel drum brakes to four wheel disc and am considering kits from Strange Engineering
The Problem here is they expect you to cut off the mounting ears from the ATX spindles in order to mount the front caliper using the brackets they supply
That's a difficult decision with a $1300 dollar pair of spindles
Any advice with these two problems would be helpful
