Up for sale is a 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle 2 dr 300 wagon. One of only 1668 built that year. Named the Blue witch, this rare custom wagon set the standard for pro touring before it became popular. It was featured in June 2001 Hot Rod magazine, appeared on six episodes of Hot Rod TV, completed two Hot Rod power tours, was a multiple-award winner at Super Chevy including 2 Best of Chevelles, Las Vegas Best Paint, 3 Top Ten awards, 3 Best of Class awards and many more. Lots of history comes with this wagon. The wagon shows just as nice as when it was originally built. But it has been driven and not trailered. It has a Stainless fuel tank, ghost flamed paint, fuel injected 496 (1970 LS6 454 block) stroked BBC with 6 speed transmission, aluminum driveshaft, leather interior, and power accessories, PW, P Rear window, PDL, front and rear AC, 12 bolt 3.73 rearend with 4 wheel disk brakes. Updated ridetech air ride suspension, all new dash gauges, new Budniks staggered 18"/20" wheels and steering wheel. Bumpers, grille and other exterior chrome has been replaced. There is now more chrome and polished billet parts under the hood than when the wagon was originally built. Checkout the Hot Rod articles for a full description. I have photos of the frame off build and a copy of the June 2001 magazine.
