I have a 69 Nova that has been mini tubbed and looking for some nice big meat in the front and rear.

But...... I also drive my car on the streets, even more than on the track........

Want to go with 19x12 with 325/30/19 and 18x10 with 275/35/18

Is this a wise descision? How do these large tires work out on the streets?
Or do you guys have other Idea's?

Thanks
Bram

my setup is a 315/30 and a 275/35/18 and it rides amazing. Buddy has a 255/35 and 335/30/18 and it rides just like mine.

Both cars are camaros with dse suspension but i would say it rides just like a c5 or c6 corvette

No issues with my 18x10 275s and 18x12 335s on the street. The ride has more to do with your shock settings.

Don't know yet Rodney, there is not much choice.

I will be driving the car on the streets 95% of the time. There aren't much Auto cross events over here.

thats why i asked....even on the 5th gen Z28 camaros we drop the 19in wheels for 18in wheels for the larger width and compound availability, I would look at that before ordering rims, the 200 treadware rule is the basic standard among most autocross groups (SCCA, Goodguys, OPTIMA, ASCA, and so on) to stay competitive in 19 and20 inch the Michelin pilot sport at a 220 tread is about all there is and it has limited widths.....just food for thought....

I agree with Rodney, stick with 18's all around for more tire choice If you want to be competitive. If you want to just have fun once it a while then I wouldn't worry. I have the 275/325 setup and the only real tire I can get in the 200 TW is the RE-11 which isn't competitive but is nice on the street. I'm moving to a 18" 315 sq setup later this year so I can run the Rival S
