Hi Everybody!
Since it's too hot to drive it right now (Arizona) i figured I'd finish the Camaro.
My current setup is:
383 Roller, Victor Jr heads, Fireball Ignition, Hi-rise with 750 Holley, 700R, 12 bolt rear....
Here are the major new additions:
Fuel System:
Holley "Sniper" EFI (This is the new system releasing this week)
Update: I was hoping Holley had their stuff together a little better than FiTech. Unfortunately my ship date today got pushed out to "sometime in July or August".....
So, I canceled the Sniper and went with the Terminator system instead, a little more expensive, but at least it's proven and available.
Holley EFI fuel delivery system (pump, filters, lines fittings)
Tank's Inc EFI Fuel tank with new pickup & sending units
Cooling:
Plan A: Black Magic fan and shroud on current Griffin Aluminum Radiator (if the Griffin radiator isn't shot)
Plan B: Ron Davis 11-16CA6769T Radiator with duel electric fans
Comfort:
Vintage Air VTA-961167 AC System
Also have a host of other little things that have needed some attention that will probably take a majority of the time...
Pro-Touring has been a great resource for me so far and I know i will be reaching out as i finish this thing up.

Very nice!
Are you running an external pump instead of one inside the tank?

Nice looking ride! Look forward to hearing your opinions on the Terminator EFI.

I went with the Terminator on my 68 myself, due to multiple push back dates on the new terminator stealth.
Go with a distributer that can work with Holleys spark control, if you don't have a compatible one already, waste of going EFI if you don't, in my opinion.. The GM HEI Small cap isn't much $ compared to a new MSD.

I'm running the external pump that came with the Terminator system.
in retrospect, i should have gone with the internal tank EFI pump just for the fact it would have been one less thing to mount somewhere.

Ike, thanks for the heads up. I was looking into that this morning after i read the Terminator instructions and wasn't sure of the idea of just running a tach wire and not fully utilizing the Holley ECU. You're right for the extra $200ish i can ditch the Crane box and have fully integrated system.

Hi Guys,
It's been a few weeks. I've been working steadily, and have learned a lot about my car and have been having a blast. It looks like i'll be FINALLY starting it tomorrow with the new EFI.
For those who like I was will be searching the interweb for information on the Holley Terminator install here are a few things I've learned in my journey....
This is a great kit, everything is spelled out pretty well but there are TONS of unexpected variables. Not to blame the manufacturer, they can't possibly anticipate and account for all the different ways we build or cars. But, unless you're lucky, (or I was not) or are building the car with the intention of EFI from the start, be prepared to spend a bit of money beyond just the EFI kit. Also, fabrication skills come in really handy. I planned for the new EFI Fuel tank, running lines, ect. I have a machining and fabrication background and luckily a shop in the garage so making a bracket for the fuel pump was not an issue. But if I wasn't it could have been a problem.
Bottom line, the Terminator is NOT the simple 8 hour install that they show in the YouTube videos. But, if your not up against a deadline (I'm not) and love spending time working on and enhancing your ride (I do) then who cares.
At the end of the install, the two biggest a** kickers for me that took the most unexpected time were:
- My TV cable from my 700R4 did not work with the Terminator linkage. I thought I'd just buy a new TV cable with the universal end to save time because i didn't want to mess with the linkage geometry on the Terminator. I spent an entire day under the car (I don't have a lift) trying to get the tiny hole in the new CV cable onto the tiny hook in the transmission. Finally got it, but it sucked.
-The other issue i had was getting the O2 sensor in a good location in the header. This was just super time consuming pulling the header and exhaust off and test fitting a few times without a lift.
Also, lots of wiring.... I had a lot more because of the new AC and Electric Fan install. I wound up pulling all the seats and carpet/trim out from the passenger side and running 3 dedicated battery direct ground/power lines to the engine compartment to support all the new systems
But, like I said... I'm super excited, I'm finally going to fire her up tomorrow.
Here are some pics. I've got the new oil cooler relocated up in front of the hood latch assembly on a custom bracket, The Vintage Air AC condenser installed, the new Griffin Radiator and Black Magic fan all ready to go. I relocated the Crane Fireball Ignition to the old battery space and put the new Holley ECU and fuel pressure regulator on the inner fender.
Forgive the wires everywhere... they will be prettied up once everything is tested out.

It does start to get busy with all the wires. I started off trying to keep wires to a minimum, then you need another Bat. hot for this. and another Ign. hot for that, then more grounds.... I was able to get my ECU behind the glove box,but I don't have an a/c under there to deal with yet either, my second choice was under the passenger seat.
My regulator is just about in the same place as yours. My camaro is not on the road yet,so I haven't done much tuning, but it fires right up and idles well.

Looks good on there!!
I am curious to hear what you think about the Terminator once it is running.....Throttle response, mileage, ease of tuning...etc.

i've only driven it a few miles since the initial startup but wow... it's not even tuned yet and its a totally different animal.
