Iv'e got some Kore3 Z51 front brakes, 02' Fbody rears. 9" DD booster, 2002 S10 1" master cylinder, and a wilwood proportioning combo valve.

Iv'e noticed some weird noises when i come to a light stop. Like a creaking and popping/snapping noise. Almost like there's a light bind in something. It comes in at the very last second before a complete stop and only under light braking. Like if I was pulling in and out of a driveway. The only time I hear it very well is in between my house and fence since there is a clear echo. The brakes don't feel weird or spongy. Iv'e gone through every nut and bolt, put new bearings in the hubs, and re-bled the brakes twice now. I'm kind of at a loss. From a visual inspection nothing seems to be cracked and nothing is leaking and the car seems to stop fine. Nothing feels sketchy.

The only lead I have is that I noticed the sound gets worse when there's heat in the suspension. If the car is cold it doesn't seem to do it or at least not as bad. If it heats up after a 20 minute drive, it gets very clear. I can cycle my suspension and I don't get any noise. It has something to do with forward and reverse motion and stopping.

Any ideas?

Its your drums in the rear f body brakes. Ask me how i know lol. I ditched both parking brakes because of this.

Seriously, it will eventualy get so bad you think the rear bearings are going out.

You could have a fluid leak, because my seals failing caused it. Those drums do that when they build up a sticky paste on the drum shoe.

Which btw is why it gets better as it heats up...
