Hi, I was wondering if anyone out there could give me an idea in what width 18" wheel would work well on my stock 67 SS with hotchkis lowering springs (1 1/2"). I was thinking 18 x 8 up front and maybe 18 x 9.5 in the back. If anyone could let me know what backspacing to use I would greatly appreciate it.

Your gonna want to measure it up cause cars are different. My guess would be rear BS 5.0"- 5.75" range.

I'm planning on 17 x 8 in front and 17 x 10 in rear for my '67 Chevelle but I'm not sure what will fit either. Any help would be great

Thanks, Kurt

17x8 fronts w/4.5"-5" backspacing and 17x10's w/5.5-5.75" backspace will fit nicely on your 67.
17x9.5's w/5.75" backspacing will also fit on the front,if you want to go wider.

The same backspacing numbers will work with similar size 18's.

Thank you VERY much. I'm planning on a Air Ride Tech full suspension too, do you think ill have any major problems with that?

Nope. Just use the higher backspace numbers I posted.
BTW,I'm also running a full ART set-up with Shockwaves. Feel free to email me at [email protected] if I can help with any suggestions.

I was able to run an 18x10 with a 295x35 with 5.5 BS on the rear of a bone stock 67.

We agree. A 10" on the back of those cars are no problem. If you need tech help, give us a call.
