Anyone where to buy NICOPP in straight lengths upwards to 8-10 feet? I see you can buy long coils, but doesn't make much sense to buy that much and a $$$ straightener for a one time use.

Thanks

I've seen it hanging on the brake line rack at Advanced/CarQuest stores. Don't know about 8' - 10' long though.

With a quick Google search seems all the big names carry the brand but nothing in that material or the 72". I may have to special order it

You don't need to buy a straightener, you can straighten it pretty easily and if you need 10 feet buy a roll and sell the remainder to someone else. Or buy a straightener and resell it for 20 bucks off.

I don't want it to look like crap.

"Curves" are in! Make it a part of your design.

The longest lengths of straight tubing you'll find will generally be 72" due to parcel shipping size limitations, although that isn't to say that you couldn't do a 180 degree bend and have numerous 72" lengths. That said, a "straightener" can be as simple a drilling a hole through a 2x4, clamping it in a vice and pulling the tubing through it. UHMW nylon cutting boards work even better IMO. And while a roller style would be ideal, like you said, that's a lot of $$$ for one time use.

Alternatively, call your local hydraulic shop and see if they have a straightener that you could borrow, rent or just let them straighten your tubing for you.

Tobin, bought some line and totally forgot fittings! Now I noticed the NICOPP pre-flared came with black fittings. Are the particular for NICOPP over the brass colors?

Trust me, as a tech I prefer 72 in straight lines. Back at Midas I used to only order 72 in inverted flare line, in steel from NAPA as the Nicopp hadnt made a big presence yet.
Any longer makes it hard to deal with.
Since I bought my hydraulic flaring tool, cutting ,flaring and installing lines for me is an art form personally. I try to make my lines form to original space and hangers.
TRUST ME, ANY LONGER TURNS INTO A NIGHTMARE. Period.
After having re lined 2000s Silverados front to back it makes things easier.
I cut to fit and hand bend everything, and having done it for so long I hate roll line.
