Selling a Fast Warehouse hydroboost bracket for 70-81 Camaro/Firebird and GM hydroboost unit. This is already set up to mount to a stock pedal assembly. All that is needed is your selected master cylinder and hydraulic lines. Only reason for selling is because I'm switching to manual brakes.

$150

Pictures added and still available.

There is a picture with a master cylinder for representation but it won't be included. I would include it but that style master cylinder does not fit under 2nd F-Body hoods. I can include a CPP 15/16" bore Corvette master cylinder at an additional cost if desired. Let me know.

Why would you change to manual brakes? I just got a 70 camaro and it has disk brakes on all 4s with manual brakes....been thinking about going vaccum booster or this hydroboost but not sure how to do it. How much work is this and what's needed to complete the swap?

You would just need the lines and fittings to get it installed. It basically works off your power steering pump. Your current manual master cylinder should bolt up to it but you might need to swap for a different bore size. Going hydroboost route will allow for a crazy cam profile or boost because a certain amount of vacuum is needed when using a vacuum booster. With how I have this thing set up, it eliminates the need for retrofitting the push rod that attaches the pedal. If you feel that you like power assisted brakes then go for it. I'm going manual because I have never had a manual brakes system and I would like to test it out.

I have been getting personal messages from various forum members about this setup. It is still available for sale. This is a great deal for anyone looking to install hydraulic power assisted brakes on their car. Hydratech, for example, sells a similar product for $565 on their website. Many use this setup for pro-touring type performance builds. It basically retains power assisted brakes, eliminates the need for engine vacuum and allows for high profile cam shaft or boost. I have performed all necessary modifications already to install. This saves you the time of going out and finding a hydroboost, buying/renting the special install socket, cutting/fitting the pushrod, etc. The bracket is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum alloy and has a fully adjustable with a hex adjuster with jam nuts.

Here is a link showing the part description for the Fast Warehouse bracket by itself. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chevrolet-Pontiac-Camaro-Firebird-Hydroboost-Adapter-Bracket-1970-thru-1981-/291688292796?hash=item43e9fa21bc:g:qHYAAOSwll1WxlK q&vxp=mtr

Here is a link showing how everything is installed. The unit for sale is actually the one assembled in this thread. https://www.pro-touring.com/threads/119173-Hydroboost-install-obstacles?p=1172042&highlight=#post1172042
