I'm looking for a little added safety so I'm looking to add an inertia switch. I need some help on how to wire it in. I have an Aeromotive Stealth 340 in-tank and a Fitech setup. I picked an inertia switch from a foxbody mustang and also have a 30 amp relay to wire in. The battery is in the trunk as well.

Are you going to use the Fitech to control the pump? I'm not familiar with that system though. Do you know if it uses a power or a ground to control the pump?

Fuel pump is controlled directly from the with a single wire.

I'm assuming you meant to say switch. You can run the switched power to pin 86 of your relay and pin 85 directly to ground. Run a power wiring directly to pin 30 of the relay and then run a wire from pin 87 to your inertia switch. Then, from the inertia switch to the power for your pump. Is that helpful at all?

Yes, that's helpful. The pump is run from the ecu. So ecu fuel pump wire to the relay then relay to the inertia switch and inertia switch to the pump. My response made no sense whatsoever, can't even explain it. Thanks bud

I put an enertia switch on my cat . It had 3 wires. So I too one 12 guage wire from relay and other to pump. Left the 3rd 14 g wire unused. melted the wires so wired it direct and had no problem. How many wires do you have on your switch?

What did the cat think about that?
