I have never rewired a car before, so this is a big deal for me. I'm using AAW Power Plus 20 universal harness and I'm at the point where the ignition is wired and I'm testing for continuity between the body harness and the LS Swap harness. I have a trunk mounted battery with a remote Ford solenoid. The solenoid is wired in pic below(alternator, main power, batt) one side, the starter solenoid wire to S terminal, and battery out to starter. From what I've read and talking to AAW this is correct?

Batt voltage is 12.5 at on the "in" terminal on the solenoid. I've never used the Ford solenoid before but I'm assuming the battery out only goes hot in key on position? Voltage at the fuse box is @12.5. I checked the battery wire at the ignition box on the steering column, 12v also no readings on the solenoid wire. If all is kosher I would guess the solenoid wire should show voltage in the key on(run) position? I do have voltage on the ignition relay on the LS Harness, but no where else. I was told by Current Performance that some of the fuse panel is key on and some key on/run. The harness is connected to the batt post on the starter and grounded to the drivers side head. I was guessing it the rest of the fuse panel would get powered once the solenoid sends the signal to the starter? I'm wondering if the switch box on the column could be faulty or if I'm troubleshooting this the wrong way? Please excuse any questions that may be elementary, any direction offered would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Talked to AAW today. I'm going to make sure I'm getting spark to the solenoid terminal during crank position, if not I'll replace the ignition box.

Bad crimp on solenoid wire. At least this issue is solved.....
