OK Guys. Here's the deal. Poor College student, needs wheels and tires for G-Machine project. I think 18x8 or 8.5 on the front and 18x10.5 or 11 on the rear. The most common prices have been around 2500-3000 for the wheels alone. Are there some less expensive alternatives I could go with until I get the right amount of cash together? I was thinking maybe Z06 Wheels???
Thanks all,

I was thinking the same thing, but from what I saw, the backspacing on Z06 wheels was always wrong for a 1st Gen Camaro. I'm not sure about a G-body though. My guess is that it would be similar...modern cars have much deeper wheel wells in general than older cars, so they also have deeper backspacing.

Wheel spacers and genuine ZO6 wheels are a good option. Don't get the knock off ZO6 wheels. They are much heavier then the real OEM ones.
