Just redid the interior in my 68 camaro. I used TMI molded door panels and dash pad. Since they don't make rear panels for convertibles I hacked up the stock metal panels and welded the 3 pieces together and flush mounted speakers in them and had my upholstery guy cover them to match the fronts. I made the console and had it covered also. Then he covered the seats to match. I used kick panels from Dennis(1976camaroguy).

It looks great.
I also purchased a TMI interior. Kit with sport bolsters .
For my 68 RS drop top.
But I'm in the body prep and paint stage .

Very nice. All said and done how much $ do you have into the interior?

I have about 3500 into the upholstery work. I'd say 5-6 grand total. Another thing I did was to add a vintage air heater/defroster so I could get rid of that ugly stock controller. I upgraded to the billet control. I also used the Clayton machine works door handles. They're not cheap but they look sweet.

They fit great as long as you don't plan on using the stock door handles with them. TMI claims they will work but there's no way.

Im debating on ordering a set now. I literally have them sitting in the shopping cart on jegs website. I just can't decide if i want to go black, white or red stitching.

Did you have someone recover the seats for you or did you do them yourself? If you did it, how hard was it and how long did it take you?

I built the console and then had everything covered. I know my limitations, and sewing upholstery together is it. The seat upholstery is all custom done.
