I am thinking of taking this Demon off of my ZZ4 (sick of fouling plugs) and put a fuel injection system on my 67 camaro. Has anyone put an injection system on a ZZ4? I was looking at Jegs and they have a Holly and Edelbrock but wondered if the compression is too high?

The compression ratio of an engine really has nothing to do with the EFI systems ability to tune it. The Holley COmmander 950 system will work great and they even have a base map for the ZZ4. It should get you running with minimal effort. I would suggest a StealthRam kit with 24 lb/hr injectors, or 36 lb/hr injectors if you plan on doing mods in the future.

Thanks for the info. In the Jegs mag the Edelbrock model said for engines up to 9.5?

The Edelbrock system is not as adjustable as the Holley so you are limited. There is a guy with a single turbo Nova using the Commander and making 1500HP.

The stealth ram would probably work great i have a zz4 cammed sportsman 2 headed 360 with a tpi setup with 24lb injectors and mild porting and its maxed out at 5300rpm.
