Hi Everyone,
Want to get some thoughts for side mirrors for my project '68 Charger. I am going for a mild resto-mod look with more details at the thread below. I am either looking at the stock style or the Billet Specialties, similar to how they are shown on the Ford pickup.
Thoughts?

I would have to see the car ...trying to imagine them on i dont really like either to be honest , guess it depends on your wheel finish choice ...trim etc . if there isnt much chrome trim left well they will stand out like dumbos ears ...if you have a good amount of chrome then you should be good

Hi Raustinss, thank you for the quick reply. I am going to keep the chrome trim stock on the car, and the initial wheel choices will be Coys C5s in chrome. I think if I went with the Billet Specialties, I would trim the mounting stems down, so they didn't stick out too far and look out of place. I think that white Ford pick up has the proportions correct, and they look simple and classic; a look that I am aiming for with the car.

The stock Charger is a very nice mirror. Probably one of the nicer ones of that era. The Billet one doesn't even come close. But if you're really desire something non-factory, consider there: http://forums.vintage-mustang.com/1967-through-1968-mustang-parts-sale/650516-shelby-bullet-mirrors.html

Maybe Talbots... or just stay stock. Yours is a "remote" mirror. My car came with the same style, I switched to the non-remote, which is an option on the A-body Mopars. Don't think it would have been an option on the Charger since it was a "Premium" vehicle. I like the non-remote style, it is a little less bulk.
