I fell on this deal last night and now it's sitting in my driveway :bananna2:. I've always been a sucker for the F100. This one is a 351M with a 4 on the floor and will work great for what I'm wanting to do. Ideally, a short bed would be my first choice but I'll deal with this. I can throw 4x8 sheets in the bed if I need to, I'll take it!! The Fox is still going to be the priority but eventually I would like to do the whole Crown Vic swap, parallel four link, and bags.

I have a couple of things coming down the pipe for it at the moment, I've just been fixing some mechanical things at the moment. I'll have an update shortly!

Josh good looking truck. It kind of reminds me of my ideas on my 78 C10 diesel. Had wiped 400 sbc and burnt th375(400 w 350 tailshaft).
I got lucky my parallel 4 link was same distance from front spring mount to center of the axle tube so I had local shop weld front mounts to 1/4" plate and made mine bolt on. Only welding was a le . mounts.
I will recommend thinking about spring options. My truck has 9000s behind axle, I really think when it goes back on road I'll up grade to heavier bags for load capacity.
I really think I am gonna either buy or copy(and beef up) a Fays2 style watts link. Panhard bars really kind of suck. I had truck 12 bolt and long ph bar wasn't Best. Wound up with plate mounted to diff. Your having 9 in will open up more possibilities though. Think I will watch this one. I am also in process of writing a pm to you about different issue on one of my projects.

There's a crown vic swap group on facebook now. There are even some guys with some kits to make the install process easier. Wish these kits were around back when I did my cvic swap.

I wish I had a different update but I sold the truck a few months ago. The garage was becoming crowded and I needed to do some work on the house. When I get more cash saved up, I'm going to look for a truck that's a little more solid and build it.
