Back in the 80s and 90s the hot set-up for GM A-bodies was to do the B-body (same as second gen F-body) spindle swap which got better brakes and a more desirable camber curve when combined with tubular upper control arms. This was the setup and I had on the GTO when I first built it. I have since swapped to a ATS spindle and Corvette brakes.
So what I have for sale are the spindles and brakes that were on my GTO originally. They are built on a Belltech dropped spindle, the hubs are billet steel and are made by Coleman. The 14" rotors are also made by Coleman and are 1.38" thick and have a Wilwood aluminum hat. The calipers are Wilwood Billet Superlite 6 piston and the pads are Hawk HP. This set-up was $3000 when I got it back in 2000 or so...
Since there are much better options for A-bodies now, this is a great setup for 2nd F-bodies. This would make for an excellent setup for a track day car or a modest budget build. Here are the two issues:
1. This set-up is really heavy and would cost a fortune to ship.
2. This set-up is old and weathered, so it doesn't look pretty and new (I will post pictures shortly).
I would be willing to meet half way to make the deal within a 200 miles drive (I live in 54902).
Price: $1500 obo...
