Seems there are several brands out there-comments on ease of install/fit/function from folks esp on the slightly lighter TA /Shaker hole hood vs Camaro hood.
Alignment holes need additional slotting etc?

Skip, I have Fesler's hinges on my car with the Anvil carbon Fiber hood... LOVE 'EM!

Interested in this as well. Do they provide more adjustment compared to stock hinges? Does the hood open and close easier/smoother? thanks.

Following as well. I have the Anvil Formula hood waiting to go on my Bird, it would almost be a shame to bolt on 45 year old hinges! Might look into Ring Bros as Fesler would have sales tax for me!

Can't remember where I read it, but a shop was complaining about a Fesler hinge ball breaking causing damage to the freshly painted hood. I read it on Instagram but can't remember the name of the shop. It was the first I'd heard of something like that happening. They decided to stop using them after this fail.

Alignment holes should not need any extra slotting with our billet hinges. They are precision CNC machined and use sealed bearings as well as a nitrogen gas strut for smooth operation. Please give us a call at 888-813-1293 and check out our second-gen billet hinges on our website (click here). (http://www.eddiemotorsports.com/product/camaro-hood-hinges/hood-hinges-70-81-camaro/) There are many finish options to choose from, and we have two videos posted there as well as more info.
