126127Ok guys I have a good friend building my coyote 66 fastback and wanted to give it a try building my own so I just purchased a 63 comet and am deciding between building the 200 that it came with or swapping a 302 and c4 that I can pick up for $800 in since this is my first go it is a budget build so Granada disk breaks explorer 8.8 Shelby drop and need to know if a tci 4 link from a 65-66 mustang will fit or if it can be modified to by a couple of guys that have never built a car the only reason I bring up the 4 link is I have one still in the box anyone that has experience with these comets and want to give me a heads up on issues that can be avoided please let me know

any progress yet. I have a '62. It was my first car. it has 40,000 miles on it. I too am looking for info to 4-link it. It does not seem like any of the kits will bolt in. Wich sucks for me because I cant weld. I am finally putting together the 200ci inline that has had the machine work done for a year. Being a father of 2, its hard to spend the money on my car. I would like to put in the ridetech Tru-turn system from a mustang for the front, but leaning towards CPP just do to cost. We are rare. Nobody is building roundbody comets. We need to compare notes. Check out cometcentral.com and classicinlines.com.

The TCI 4 link listed for a 63 falcon should work. But, call to TCI to verify.

i was under the impression that it won't fit perfect because of the extra length in the trunk floor and the floor below the rear seat where the brackets mount are different from the falcon.

Nice ride! I'm hoping to modify a SOT 3 link for the back of mine.
In regards to the Tru-Turn, I believe that has to be used with the mustang centerlink, which wont work on the comet / falcon.
I will be using a 289 and a TKO600, still deciding which way to go on the rear.

I think I got my 67 Cougar from that exact yard.
