I'm wondering how people with 67 Camaro's are getting these black vent window frames for there cars I'm sure that they are painting them or powder coating them was wondering what's the process of how to do this or can they be purchased somewhere I've searched the net high and low with no success any information would be greatly appreciated thanks for any replies just like the car in the pic

I sanded mine but still left it rough little, Light coat of etching primer, and a 2 coats of SEM trim black.

I lightly sanded my falcon trim and had them powder coated.

How did you remove the glass from the frames for paint or powder coating thanks for the replies

On the Fords, after you remove the window assembly's there are normally small screws or rivets or the combination of the two that need to be removed. Then you pull the frames apart. Fords use a cork type material or rubber glass setting tape. You may need something like that going back together.
Keep track of all the hardware for putting the windows back in the car. Take pictures if you can.
