So I have my cradle bolted in my 69 camaro and the rear end set to the ride height. I install my upper arms into the cradle mounts. The drivers side fits but the passenger side doesnt. I am using the swivel links and spacers. The links and spacers measure 1.805 wide. The drivers side mount measures 1.833 on the inside. The passenger measures 1.782 on the inside. Nothing seems bent, took measurements with a snap gauge and dial caliper. Has anyone else had this problem? I just found out and havent contacted ridetech, which will be monday. I was thinking just getting the spacers machined equality and not having to take the cradle back down.

Did you take that measurement at the bolt hole, or at the end of the bracket?
The cradle upper arm mounts are CNC bent, then held in a jig fixture while welding, so they are almost always dead on.
They also have a bit of extra clearance designed in to accommodate powder coating thickness.
It's more likely that the mount got hit during shipping or installing and the end is pushed in a bit.

Same measurement everywhere on the mount. Even at the top. The jig fits loose on the drivers side and is tight on the passenger. Am thinking I need to take it down to get full measurements.

Took the cradle down and here are the measurements I got:
Lower tip (just below the hole)
Drivers side 1.820 pass side 1.790
Reinforcement side of mount
Drivers side 1.800 pass side 1.790
Upper bar near weld
Drivers side 1.820 pass side 1.775
Doesnt seem to be bent

Pics?

This picture is the opposite end of the hole for the mount. If I just use the one spacer and the endlink and measure with a slide caliper I have .480 space. The spacers are measuring .530. At the bolt hole I do the same thing and measure .505

Here are the measurements I'm getting.
The outside measurements I'm getting for the bracket are.
Bolt hole 2.175
Middle of bracket 2.168
Top 2.165

Ok, I did a little digging as to what the parts should be just for reference:
upper bracket on cradle: 1.812 (inside dim)
heim spacer: 0.531 (outside dim)

You have three options:
1-call our Sales line Monday morning, request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA), and we'll replace any part of the kit you'd like
2-have the spacer(s) on one side machined slightly to fit
3-use a long bolt with a few nuts strategically installed to spread the mount slightly to get the heim/spacers in there

If it were me working on something I purchased in my own garage I'd use option #3 as you only need to spread the mount about 25 thousands.
That would get the system up and going without causing any issues (especially on a weekend).

Let me know if you need anything else.

Ok thank you, I'm gonna give you a call monday as I have a few other questions to ask.

Thank you Britt for taking time out on the weekend to post ideas and options. I talked to Danny this morning and he gave me the same options as you. I bent the bracket and it seems to work fine.
