Inherited a project and I am stuck

53 Commander - Art Morrison frame

The floors have all been replaced in the body but the tin worms ate all the doublers and boxed sections off the body.

I did not do the work so I have no samples or pics or anything to go off to recreate original mounting points on the body.

I have talked to a local guy http://www.aandmdeluxecustoms.com/ but he wants to do the whole car not just mount the body.

so whats your question should you let him, can you do it yourself ,how can you do it yourself ?
