Hi,my name is Cody and I'm about to start my 78 TransAm project. This isn't a very good pic but I now have the car back from paint and will take some better pics, hopefully of the build as well. Please comment on the paint as it was picked two yrs ago and there are things I wish I had done.(shaved or flush handles) not to mention that the mounting posts for the door trim are still there as I don't think the chrome trim will look good.Decisions to be made later I suppose. For now my priority is to get the susp. under the car and have talked to Global West about the package.Does 6k sound about right?(without t/w's) Any suggestions or comments will be appreciated, thanks, Cody

Welcome to the site, Cody.

Not sure what you're asking about for the 6k price - suspension?

yes,the susp. excluding the tires/wheels

I'd think that even if the price included brakes you could get it done right for quite a bit less than 6k - but I don't have an F-body, much less a second gen so the parts and prices may be quite a bit different for yours.
