Hello everyone,

I have a 69 Camaro that I have purchased about 6 months ago. Made a trip across the country and couldn't come back empty handed. :(
The previous owner removed the heater core and everything that has to do with heat and ran my ECM wires through the heater core holes. He mounted the ECM in the glove box area, also the radio is there too.

I would like to have heat in my car and by looking at how big the heater boxes are im going to have to move everything. I have very limited electrical skills. Im willing to learn but I would like a harness that is pretty much plug and play. I wish I had pictures of how bad it is but I am currently over seas. I would like to start over with a clean harness and mount the ECM somewhere else so I can have heat.

My car is fitted with a 6.0L and a 4l60e (t56) is going in next year. Has a 98 Camaro ECM with a 5.7 harness.

Thank you for any advice. It is greatly appreciated. Ray

I wouldn't mind it being under the hood.

As far as adding a heater, I don't know your budget, but I would go with Vintage Air. You'd have AC also!

I just put the vintage air heater/defroster in my convertible. I couldn't justify the extra $1000-1200 for AC that I would use once or twice a year. It takes up way less room than the stocker and you get rid of that bad looking original control panel.
