Hey y'all , my name is Chad and I'm new to the site. I am building a 79 firebird and am new to touring rides and Pontiacs so I have a lot to learn. Car is stock right now. Just finished my 463 stroker and have to build the car to it. I am looking for advice.
Suspension, brakes, tires, tranny.... Etc

We are going to need some more details like overall goals and a ballpark on budget to begin. You're on a second gen F body platform, so there's no shortage of really good options to make your car handle well.

That motor sounds awesome. You are going to need bigger breaks. Upgrade your suspension first then get bigger breaks to stop that monster. Have fun.

Welcome! I've been enjoying my Firebird 428. For autox/road course, just make sure to get the Canton oil pan before hanging the corners! And get rid of the PCV in the valley pan and use a M/E wagner adjustable pcv from the valve cover. I have a TKO600 tranny with quicktime bell, centerforce clutch, and American powertrain aluminum flywheel and hydraulic t/o bearing kit. I have TCI eng chassis/susp parts.

Had a great time this past weekend at my first time at Roebling Road. Biggest track my car has seen yet.
