I'm getting ready to do a major upgrade to my car one of which being a Hydratech hydoboost system with Baer Extreme plus 14" front and back and a PSC remote reservoir. Problem is I ordered a Turn One type II PS pump and it hasn't arrived yet. My car currently has a Tuff Stuff Saginaw P pump with an internal reservoir (1250PSI). Can I run this pump temporarily until my type II shows up or am I going to have problems?

Thanks

There are a lot of poeple running hydroboost with P type pumps, that should be enough pressure.

Ok. That's good news. I thought the line pressure wouldn't be enough. I don't have the exact specs but the Turn One pump is being calibrated for the hydroboost and runs at something like 1700psi.

I'm assuming I should still run the PSC reservoir even tho the Saginaw has an integrated reservoir?

No, you will wait for the other pump to use the remote reservoir. Is there a reason you don't just wait for the Turn One pump?

The problem is the car is going in tomorrow for a suspension/axle/brakes/wheels/tires. The stock brakes have to come off to accommodate the axle and new spindles and the new 14" rotors/brakes will be going on and I'm not sure if the mini booster/MC will power the new brakes. I don't know what the best course of action is, put the new brakes on with the current set up, or install the hydoboost minus the PS pump and see what happens. I'd like to wait for the pump but I have no idea when its going to show up. Its been 10 weeks since its been ordered so idk.
