Cross bar height

I need to weld in the cross (harness) bar in my 70 Firebird, but I don't have my seats yet (Recaro Specialist M). Can someone give me a measurement from the floor (base of the role bar) to the bottom of the cross bar?

"No more than 4" below driver's shoulders" is what it should be - hard to judge with no seats but probably not a good idea to get a measurement from someone else unless they have same seats/set up and similar height driver.

Thanks for the reply. I suspect many have used Specialist Ms in a 2nd gen fbody, and I'm an average sized guy, so I'm hoping I can get a decent measurement.
