I'm really interested in these but I haven't seen any on a car. I have a 68 mustang fastback and plan to run 18x8 and 19x10's. My budget is around 4k for wheels. I want to get away from the typical billet wheels and these seem to fit that. Also, does anyone know a CCW dealer or do they only sell direct? I'd like to find them cheaper than what the website shows.

I was quoted the same as advertised prices from a forum vendor for LM20s fyi.
I'd recommend buying straight from ccw just so there's no confusion using a middle man, will probably also save on freight.
CCW are awesome wheels, I've had a couple of sets. Google image search CCW pro touring, or camaro, I've seen a few concave wheels on cars.

Just came across these BC Forged wheels. They look promising too. Lot of finishes available too.

I found a CCW rep over at lateral g.net who is hopefully able to help me with some pics. I think they're only available directly from CCW too. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I guess the price is the price. If I get some more pictures from the guy I'll post them here.

Given the way the spokes hang over the hoop I bet those wheels would be a PITA to clean.

Those CCWs are nice but they dont seem that concave to me. There are other brands that make similar style that go deeper

I feel the current concave champion is finspeed. The have some wicked spoke profiles. They dont exactly make that style tho. Maybe the F14 is close

I checked out Rotiform. They make summer killer looking wheels. I little on the pricey said but I'm almost considering blowing past my budget.

Yeah I saw those. Super badass. I prefer hidden hardware as it stays truer to the orignial style
http://www.rotiform.com/mlw-w-29855.htm

They must be relatively new because I love mini lite style wheels and keep a loose data base of all makers in my head. Everybody always gets something wrong. ETIII with the ring around the center. Forgeline with the beveled spokes. Bonspeed had the spoke shape wrong as did New Gen
The best version was the PSengineering wheels but the only came in 17"s and are two piece cast. 24lbs was quoted for 17x9.5..not terrible. I like that they had the magnesium look rough finish. A guy I know cooked up a batch of powder coating that matched pretty closely to get his forged wheels to appear cast.
Heres the PS wheel for reference

I thought I had my wheels all figured out and then some guy points me to Rotiform (thanks Dave) I think they're affiliated with MHT somehow. I tried calling ETIII to see if they'd make a 19 but I got an answering machine that wouldn't take a message. So looks like they're out My first choice in wheels is the Lola by ETIII (I want spinners too) or the anvil mustang wheel by Evod both six spoke, very square wheels. The Lola looks like it may have been a one off and Evod told me $1800 each to reproduce them. Too much for me. I like the vintage look in modern sizes but finding 18s and 19s is hard to do. I have my tires bought and I'm going with those sizes. The color options Rotiform has is enough to make your head spin. So finding a wheel AND them having to pick a color. It's tough. Adv1 makes an awesome 6 spoke wheel but it's just out of range and a little too modern. I think it's time to call Rotiform dealers and get prices. Budnik has some wheels I like too (sko series). Waiting on prices on those.

I realize that this option is WAY outside of your original $4k budget. And it looks like you've maybe since changed your mind on the style and type of wheel that you want. But nevertheless, if you are still interested in a concave monoblock with a mesh ten spoke pattern (like that CCW CVM10, in your original post) and are willing to blow your budget, then you might consider the Forgeline MT1. http://www.forgeline.com/products/one-piece-monoblock/mt1.html

That is a sexy ass wheel.

FYI, we also offer the Grip Equipped Laguna, which is sort of styled after the mini lite. However, the machining time required on these centers is completely ridiculous, so we made a batch of them in advance, when we had some down time. And now we are almost sold out. So call or email me, if you are serious about considering the Laguna. We need to verify availability, before you make a final decision.

And we offer a six-spoke centerlock too, called the RS6 ("RS" because it was originally designed by Roadster Shop, and "6" for six-spoke). See: http://www.forgeline.com/products/heritage-series/rs6.html

However, this one is really a budget buster. By the time you factor in a $2000 centerlock conversion kit, you will have literally doubled your original $4k budget.

You're killing me. You make beautiful wheels. I think I need to sharpen my pencil a bit and look under rocks for a few more $$. Do the center lock wheels come in an 18" (I'm going 18 and 19)?

Yes, we can do the RS6 in 18. BUT we'd have to make them with the reverse flat-lip outer, not the standard stepped lip outer that is shown in these photos.

We've only engineered the centers for 18 and 19 inch center sizes. So if we combine them with a stepped lip outer (as Roadster Shop originally envisioned), then the stepped lip adds an inch of total outside diameter. Hence, an 18 inch center plus the stepped lip outer becomes a 19 inch wheel, and the 19 inch center plus the stepped lip outer becomes a 20 inch wheel.

But a flat lip reverse outer on an 18 inch center is still an 18 inch wheel. And a flat reverse lip outer on a 19 inch center is still a 19 inch wheel.

That might be more explanation than you really want. The key is yes, we can do it, but only with a flat lip outer, not with a stepped lip outer.

Ironically, the difference between a standard stepped lip and reverse flat lip is actually illustrated in those photos of the Laguna wheel. The first Laguna shows the standard stepped lip.

And the second Laguna shows the reverse flat lip.

Certainly, one the advantages of a three piece modular wheel is that we have the ability to get creative with things like this in order to fine tune sizes and fitments. We don't have quite as much flexibility with a monoblock wheel.

Hey Mark
Does forgeline machine the back side of the laguna wheel, if so can I see a picture? How much does a 18x9.5 3 piece hidden hardware laguna weigh?
Thats always been another problem with minilite style wheels is the weight. I have FIKSE FM5s right now and there are pretty generous pockets milled in the back to shed some weight. They are still pretty heavy at 21lbs for my 18x9.5
Mini lite style spoke profle is quite thick, there has to be some material that could be shed back there while still passing FEA tests.

Hi Decline. Yes we do machine the back side of the Laguna centers to remove as much unnecessary material as possible, but despite that, the Laguna is still pretty darn heavy (at least by our standards). The Laguna was never really intended to be about max performance. So if you are concerned about picking a Forgeline wheel that has a better tradeoff of performance metrics (weight, fatigue strength, and deflection stiffness), then we can do better. I don't want to hijack nacnac's thread. Call, email, or PM me, and I'll try to guide you to some better options.
