I have a 67 Camaro with a Detroit speed front sub frame and a LS 3 motor. When we installed the motor we found that the original oil pan would not work so the shop who was doing the body work installed a GM oil pan from a Cadillac I think it was called a C T S V. Any ways the pan fit but it hangs down quite a bit. It hangs below the K member. I bought a new oil pan from Mast Motor sports. They clam it will not hang below the K member. if it does not, well the oil pan provide enough oil for the motor? I appreciate all reply's. P. S will I have to pull the motor all the way out to get the oil pan off?
Thanks again

Rule of thumb for those swapping an LS into any GM muscle car- do not use a GM pan unless it's a Corvette or LS1 Camaro pan!
The Mast pan will do everything you need. So will a Holley 302-2 pan.
Regarding installation, not sure.

I have the ls3 with the mast motorsports oil pan. Has great ground clearance. As far as pulling the motor I'm going to say yes. The pan has to clear the oil pickup and there would not be enough room with the engine installed. You could probably take out ur motor mount bolts and raise the engine and do it without going over ur header panel and fenders but it would still be a pain in the motor compartment

i used a autokraft oil pan. Plenty of clearance. Also if you scrap the oil pan will dent and not break off like a cast one would
DSE subframe, ls3 67 camaro as well
