What are yall that are running a 12" wide rear have for a lip width on a stock width rear end? I think I messed up and didn't narrow my rear, and it's already been completely redone, rookie mistake!! So, with that, from the wheels I have been inquiring about, it looks like I'm only gonna get about a 2.5" rear lip on a 12" wheel with 7.75" bs! Was really wanting more than that.

Think about it in terms of front spacing.

On a stock rear end I believe 4.5-4.8 front spacing is acceptable.

A 12" wheel is 13" overall and that's how back and front spacing is measured.

13"-4.5 is 8.5 back spacing.

Others will chime in :)

I have a stock width 12 bolt and 18x12 wheels with 8" B.S. The wheel lip is just under 4 in. and looks fairly nice in my opinion. The wheel lip depends on the wheel design and shape of spokes (concave or convex), thickness of wheel mounting surface, etc. During my research I found the 2 piece wheels typically had more lip.

^Looks great Gary! I spoke with with Another rep today and it appears I was mis informed, or the rep I spoke with the other day and I weren't on the same page.
Looks like with one of my choices I will have at least 4" lip for the rear and around 2" up front. Which would work fine to me.

Like Gary said, the lip size will vary from style to style, brand to brand, manufacturer to manufacturer.

It is, DSE, 4 link and rolled fenders.

Still need the mini-tubs to get the 12" wide wheels. All those parts also fit cars with stock wheel tubs. Then you are limited to 10" wheels with 275 wide tires (285 if fender lips rolled).

You should still be able to get a 4" deep lip, even on a stock width axle. Just depends on the wheel brand, model. Concave forgings reduce lip depth, traditional forgings increase lip depth.
