The 75 TA cloned into a 78 is really coming along. I have cleaned up the under-hood wiring with the addition of a Jeg's terminal post on the firewall. The entire suspension is now all Hotchkis with the subframe connectors, polyurethane everything and Bilstein shocks to match the rear. The Turbo 350 now has a B&M Holeshot 2400 stall torque converter. I just had a Sony 4 X 100 watt stereo with CD, USB and Aux in on the front, and Blue Tooth for hands free calling (It wirelessly connects to my iPhone. Even though the car still has the stock 2.56 gears, it really scoots out when you hit the gas.

These photos show the Butler Drop Base air cleaner. I ordered the one that uses the square "universal" filter but I hated the way you had to attach it. It was just stupid, weird and awkward to me so I ended up using the Butler base, a stock '78 Trans Am air filter (which, unfortunately, is not as tall as a "true" Hot Road 14 X 3 inch air filter) and the stock lid.
Intake is Edelbrock Performer. I would prefer a Performer RPM and may get one someday, once I get the Vintage Air Conditioning system in the car and the 3.73 gears. For now, I put a 1/2 spacer under the carb and "pretend". That is the beauty of the Butler drop base airliner, you can use a Performer RPM. You might even be able to use a Torker but I wouldn't swear to it!
