Only problem I see is doesn't have swivel casters on the front of the cherry-picker. Front casters make it easier to move the engine around, especially when that end is under the car.
Of course you can save an add'l $100 over the Sears unit and pick one up locally from Jeg's for $200 (Jeg's #555-80045K).

Of course! You never told me there were so many stores near where I work. I think I have passed 2 recently in the downtown-ish area!

So I got the Jegs one. Let it sit for about 3 months after using it, and now the damn hydraulic pump wont work. Jegs P.O.S.... :)

A posibility?
I layed my engine hoist down to transport it once, for about 2 hours. It wouldnt work when I got there. Had to let it sit for a while, then it worked. I guess the fluid flowed where it wasnt suppose to, then drained back once I let it sit.
Not sure if this applies to you situation.
