Does anyone know of any internet sites that explain leaf spring design. I have Chassis Engineering by Herb Adams and it explains how to calculate spring rate for a pack of leaves. I was hoping to find something that goes more in depth.

Thanks

Check for books written by the SAE. They have several out there. I will look for some links. If I can find them I will edit post and put them here.

edit: If you go to the Amazon.com/borders bookstore webiste, and do a search for leaf spring design you will find all kinds of books from the SAE on the subject.

There is some decent info on these sites. There isn't a single source I have found that really addresses the design aspect of a leaf spring system so I have pulled a lot of data together from a number of different sites. Do a few searches and you will find all kinds of info but most of it is redundant.
