Ok this is going to be for a 68 Camaro with 3" DSE drop springs in the back. I have Budnik Hammers on the way that are 18x9. I am thinking either 275/40/18 (26.8" tall) or 275/35/18 (25.7" tall). I'm going with a 245/45/17 in the front. If I go with the 40 series I can get really good package pricing on oe C5 tire packages from work. This is for my fiance's car and she wants to fill the wheel well up as much as possible. She likes the way my 69 tucks the top of the tire. I'm thinking the 40 series will fill the wheel well more, but do I want to go with a 26.8" tall tire??
Just lookin for some ideas, If anyone has pics I could compare it would be helpfull. thanks

I would go with the 26.8" tire if you want to fill the wheel well. I have the DSE 3" drop springs on my 68 Camaro and am running a 255/45/17 rear tire that is 26.1" tall. I ended up putting in a 1" lowering block and still think it could sit a little bit lower. The top of the tire is now about 1" below the fender lip. Before I switched to 17" wheels, I was running a 245/60/15 which has a 26.6" overall diameter and it filled the wheel well a little better.
