I need some help figuring out what to do with my front end, ill start at the beginning. I currently have drum brakes all around, terrible i know. I have a front disc set up from a 69 nova. i just need spindles and some lines. My issue is that i wanna lower the car, should i get drop spindles? will i have any issues later on? my future plans includes new control arms ( most likely church boys) and possibly coil overs, do i need new springs as well? i don't wanna buy drop spindles and later on have an issue with it being lowerd. Thanks guys

First, it would help if you told us what car you are working on. Next, you need to be aware there are right ways and wrong ways to lower a car. If you decide to do it the right way, your primary goal should be to improve the handling and that will naturally lead to a lower ride height. The guys at RideTech can tell you what you need and set you up the with the necessary parts to do it right. The one piece of advice I give all newcomers is to buy all your suspension parts from one manufacturer and don't try to mix and match parts from different sources. Very few people know enough about suspension geometry to be able to assemble a well matched system from random parts. Suspension geometry is a complex subject and you will be far better off going with a single manufacturer that has done the engineering and can supply you with a complete suspension package. While I have heard of the control arms you mentioned, they are a not a big player in the Pro-Touring market.

I would also say, don't put too much stock in those Nova brakes. You should be thinking about a complete 4 wheel disk brake system. There are many better alternatives out there these days for very reasonable prices. For brake 411 I would recommend you contact Kore3 and talk to Tobin.
