Currently running a 12 bolt with C clip that is bolted up to a G-Link so already had the brackets welded on. Looking for the best bang for the buck to upgrade to locking the axles in place / C clip eliminator.
Couple options I've considered were Tourino ends which after axles, ends, bearings, labor, etc. I'm looking at around $1200
Other options is to sell my rear for something that would work better for me such as a 9" but would need to get brackets for my G-Link as well.
Curious to hear some opinions and direction to go and any other possible reasonably priced options options.

There's a guy over on Lateral-G that has put together a very nice full floater set up. It uses custom made axles, by Strange I believe, which are expensive. I've spoken to him about converting my 12 bolt, very nice guy. I can't get on that site from work but his name is Jay (can't remember his screen name) but if you ran a search for full floater you'll find it.

Buddy,
If you are going to the trouble of changing housing ends to eliminate the C-Clips, you will have about the same amount of money to go to big Ford ends as you would a full floater hub. There are two schools of thought. Sell your 12 bolt and start with a clean new rear end. Or install floating hubs on your 12 bolt. Presumably you will want to rebuild the 12 bolt while is is apart and when you start adding all the up the costs a 9" is not much different cost wise. I was facing this same decision and decided to ditch the 12 bolt and went with a Moser 9" floater. The nice part is it is easy to change gear ratios if needed by simply changing the center section. Chassiworks can provide the necessary weld on brackets and jig for the G-Link. Here is a link to the Moser 9" floater housing.
