I'm selling a pair of R (driver side) '98-'02 LS1 style rear brakes. This will consist of aluminum calipers, aluminum backing plates and drum style emergency brakes. One of them will also be modified so that both emergency brake levers pull forward like and early GM car.

These can be used on most early GM 10 bolt rear ends if you use spacer such as the ones from BRP Hot Rods...

I thought the backing plates were cast iron?

No, they are aluminum. You can see in the pictures that they're aluminum. The emergency brake shields are stamped metal.

Are these still available? This setup would fit a staggered shock set up right?

Yes, still available. On staggered shock setups, 2nd gen F-Body owners have simply drilled a hole in their existing shock plate to move the shock absorber about 1" to clear the caliper. If you have a 1st gen F-Body, BRP Hot Rods also makes an inward shock mounting kit. This is common for these cars.
