If they have dents it doesnt hurt power as much as we think.

Saw that last week, great video! Saved me $400, I was going to get new headers because I had bottomed out hard recently and dented a couple tubes, now I'm going to make sure they don't leak and re-use them.

Well as for me I have seen so many dented headers, and honestly after many cars I have seen all beat up installed on cars and they still run hard and fast this just reinforces what I felt that unless the tubes are simply crushed flat, well then run them and watch your tune.

Just goes to show you that it should not be difficult at all for companies to manufacture headers that will fit the first time. Also makes you wonder about those $2K plus headers being sold.

I want them to do this test again with smaller tube headers. He admitted that the headers might be big enough so the dents would not really affect the flow. Smaller primaries with dents could still be a problem.

Someone posted that video a couple of weeks ago in this thread when I was asking about how to remove a dent in my headers. I decided I was not going to sweat it after watching the video.
