I found out that Edelbrock has been sold. I was also learned most likely to a FOREIGN buyer. We can all guess who that is!!! Well I use to use their product and I do know it is difficult to avoid buying something that is not made in China. I do try. Won't buy Harbor freight for the obvious. We sure are giving the farm away.

The latest Hot Rod had an interview with the head cheese from Holley, They expressed interest in buying Edelbrock. I guess someone offered more.

About 10 years ago Pro-Touring.com did a field trip there.

I think most of us love Harbor Freight--we know what we're getting when we pay what we do . . .

I just wonder what AFR is going to do now since they were going to have the Edelbrock foundry do all their castings.

Might not be too bad. If they keep the current staff and the parent company just collects the check. If they mess with the product line or stop putting out new product, it will be pretty sad.

Really their foundry is the big bread winner.
Most of the other products I would not buy, especially the electronics.
