I am on the fence of picking up a set of the d52 calipers for my truck. anyone have any input on them? I don't like the thought of replacing rotors that cost a decent amount on a better brake set and the d52 uses stock rotors which I like. thanks guys

About a year ago I put the D52's on the front of my 70 C-10 SWB. They were part of the Wilwood front and rear disc brake kit I bought from Arizona Pro Performance. They are very well made, and look nice also. The entire kit made a huge difference on my truck. How much of that is the D52 over the caliper I was running before, is hard to say.

We sell a lot of the Wilwood D52 upgrades. It's a great way to get a much better caliper, that is also lighter and looks much nicer. You get dual stainless pistons too. If you don't want to go to a full kit, they are a good choice. If you have big wheels, you may regret not getting a full kit which will increase your braking surface area and look good doing it.
Let me know if I can help, we are a direct Wilwood distributor.

You can also use the D614 94-96 Impala SS/Caprice cop car pads in D52 calipers for a little more pad size.
