brake booster high angle

I have a 69 firebird. I decided to add a booster and now the master cylinder is pointing 45 degrees up. How can i fix this without compromising the brakes?thanks

You could run the DSE reduced angle brackets (050302 (http://www.summitracing.com/parts/dsr-050302/overview/)) with a universal booster, which is what many do in order to convert over to a dual-9" diaphragm booster. These units provide about 35% more boost than the factory single-10.75" units and increase the valve cover clearance, which can be useful in many applications, whether due to tall valve covers, LSx coil packs, turbo waste gates or whatever packaging nightmare you might have under the hood. Regardless, the angle of the booster and relative position that you connect your clevis to the brake pedal should be relatively inline with each other, otherwise you can damage the booster. Plus, changing the angle of the booster is typically more for hood clearance than anything with the thicker diaphragm booster pushing the MC further forward...most would just run a MC with an angled reservoir or live with it as-is.

here is a shot of the assembly manual, and GM shows it tilted and tells you to measure the fluid from the back of the reservoir

Wow.....I may get this for my Monte. Our stock master cylinders have an angled reservoir, but the RHD S10 master cylinder doesnt. I guess this would help me too
