After I built my new garage my floor cracked right were I planned on installing my lift SP0A88 2post asymetrical Rotary lift. Life got in the way and its just been sitting in a corner for years. After doing a transmission the other day on the floor I decided never again. I have a new spot to install and it will be back up soon.

I was making a list of a few parts I need getting it back together and ran in to a roadblock. I can't find the part number to one part. At the bottom of the rams there as an adapter that is about 3" long that the hose attaches to. The hose end is pipe thread but the other end screws in to the ram has some sort of seal. See my picture. Those seals is what I need the part number to. See picture

The other issue is the guide blocks are worn and need replaced. They make a white one that comes with shims and a black cap style. One how do I know which one I really need. My lift someone had the black caps one one tower and the white ones in the other tower but they used no shims.

If i do need the shim type what is the proper method to measure or see how much shim I need?

See pictures of both types I am talking about.

I wish it was that easy. You call them and they say we don't give technical assistance. Would you like a number to an authorized repair facility?

I can figure out the seal with a hydraulic hose shop but the main thing I need to know is how tight or loose the carriages in the towers should be.

They have Local People in almost every decent sized city as most Dealerships use Rotary Lifts. That was one of the Reasons I bought my Rotary 7.

Get the Number of a Repair Facility or Local Rep and they will help you.

The fitting is a straight pipe thread O ring Boss (ORB) Adjustable. http://www.discounthydraulichose.com/SAE_Straight_Thread_ORB_Hydraulic_Fittings_s/50.htm
Try a parker hydraulics store.
