Hello,

I have a new aluminium radiator with 2 electric fans.
As i have my battery in the rear trunk, i think i have to fit 2 new wires from the battery to the front...must i start from the battery or can i start from the starter positive wire (on engine)???
The mounting instructions tells that the 2 fuses (30A each) should be within the first 11' from the battery(so in the trunk!)...is it the best or can i put them in the front engine compartment??
Due to the lenght of the wires(from rear to front) do i have to improve or decrease their diameter, or leave the same?
I don't want to make a mistake and burn something!!!:pat:

You don't have a fuse block up front? What does your ignition, lights, wipers and radio run off of now?
If I were doing this from scratch I would run a single 10ga wire from the battery to a power tap in the engine compartment. Wire the fans from the tap as you would normally. Are the fans running through relays? That would be a better setup.

Hi Mark,
Yes i have 2 relays, one for each fan.
My fuse block is under the dash and all the fuses are already used.
I already have add a relay for the starter to compensate for the distance...
